Denial isn't just a river in Africa! But, actually, there's nothing to be sad about at all this is just the beginning! Even though the competition ends in a couple weeks, our work together isn't close to being finished! This amazing community will live on, maybe forever! Were all gonna join together to create a giant cookbook chock-full of our favorite Philly-inspired recipes! So I don't want to hear any more lamenting, OK? Our Real Women friendships and community will live on! So, on this beautiful Monday, lets talk about the stars of any meal the Entrée! Now, in my Creamy Country Ham Pot Pie, I make a roux AND I add delicious and tangy Philly Cream Cheese! I know! Its DOUBLE the creaminess, and I think you know I am really OK with that! Creamy things make folks happy, y'all! I also think this pot pie is a great example of how we can use convenience products in a really healthy and delicious way. I use pre-made puff pastry as well as a bag of frozen veggies, and honestly, the dish is just as delicious, it just means a little bit less work for the busy home cook!
